LOST BALL – IN BOUNDS

When a player loses a ball, they may accept a penalty stroke and play with a substitute ball dropped as close as possible to the area in which it was lost – preferably confirming this with fellow players. This must be done if the original is not found within 3 minutes. This would be the 3rd shot if the ball was lost from the original tee shot.
